Who cares if it is winter?

There is nothing like starting your day at 5 a.m. in the morning. Usually around 20-30 degrees, packed snow on the trails. Perfect riding conditions. Here are some shots from the past month.

A little video me and Dano shot on top of Dinasaur Ridge (or the Hogback). The trail is just across the road for the Red Rocks Ampitheater. Just used my SD Camera so quality is not that great. This trail follows a ridgline with sharp drops on both sides. Quite a technical trail during the daytime!

Checking thru the Alaskan bike threads, I stumbled onto these things they call Pogies or Handlebar Mitts. Found myself an old laminate jacket with a busted zipper, lined it with a sweatshirt with a busted zipper, made some precision cuts, and some high tech sewing with zip ties. Was even able to retain the pit zips of the original jacket. Have ridden down to 18 degrees without wearing any gloves! I call them my BarMittsBrahs.

I got me a pair of Bar Mitts, Brah!
